Each portrait is painted by hand with great care, so turnaround time is typically up to one month from the time your commission begins. Many portraits are completed sooner, but timing may vary depending on my current commission queue and the complexity of your piece. If you need your portrait by a specific date, please let me know when submitting your request, and I'll do my best to accommodate your timeline.

The better the photo, the better the portrait! I recommend sending clear, high-resolution photos taken in natural light where your pet's eyes and facial details are easy to see. If you're unsure which photo is best, send a few and I'll happily help you choose.

Yes! Simple collars are included. If you'd like a detailed collar, bandana, harness, toy, floral arrangement, or another meaningful accessory, there may be an additional fee depending on the level of detail. I'll always discuss any additional costs with you before beginning.

Every portrait is sealed with a protective varnish to help preserve the artwork for years to come. You can choose from three finishes:
Matte – A soft, non-reflective finish that minimizes glare and gives the painting a classic, elegant look.
Satin – A subtle, low-sheen finish that offers a nice balance between matte and gloss. It gently enhances colors while keeping reflections to a minimum.
Gloss – A shiny finish that makes colors appear richer and more vibrant, creating a bold, polished look.
If you're unsure which finish to choose, I recommend satin. It's my most popular option because it beautifully enhances the painting while maintaining a soft, refined appearance.

Your portrait is sealed with a protective varnish, so it requires very little maintenance. To keep it looking its best, avoid displaying it in direct sunlight or areas with excessive humidity. If dust collects over time, simply wipe the surface gently with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. With proper care, your hand-painted portrait will remain beautiful for years to come.

Yes! I'll send progress photos throughout the painting process so you can follow along. Minor adjustments can be made before the portrait is completed.

Small adjustments can usually be made before the final varnish is applied. Once the portrait has been approved, finished, and shipped, additional changes may not be possible.

Every portrait is painted entirely by hand using professional acrylic paints on canvas. Each brushstroke is created with care to capture your pet's unique personality, making every piece a one-of-a-kind original artwork that can be treasured for generations.
